Considerations When Choosing Ladder Cable Trays

Material: Choose based on environmental conditions (e.g., stainless steel for corrosion resistance, PVC for impact and weather resistance). Width and Load Capacity: Select ladder width according to cable volume and weight. Common widths are 150mm, 300mm, 450mm, and up to 900mm for heavy-duty applications.

Compliance: Ensure trays conform to BS EN 61537 standards for cable management systems. Accessories: Check for availability of splice plates, bolts, and other installation hardware. Support and Design Tools: Suppliers like Eaton and Metsec provide CAD/BIM files for planning and installation efficiency.

These suppliers provide both in-stock items for immediate delivery and custom solutions for larger or specialized projects, making it straightforward to source ladder-type cable trays across the UK.
