Prepared for preliminary research by the ENSAA knowledge desk. Confirm optical interfaces, port or core capacity, electrical input and output, enclosure protection, thermal design and installation limits against current standards and product documentation.

To connect cables to a distribution box, the main supply is first connected to the main MCB, then routed through an RCCB (if used), with output MCBs, neutral, and earth links properly wired to distribute electricity safely.

Step-by-

Step Wiring Process1. Safety First Always ensure the main power supply is turned off before starting any work to prevent electrical shock. Use insulated tools and wear protective equipment.

2. Mount the Distribution Box Secure the distribution box to a wall at an accessible height, ensuring the installation site is free of obstructions. 3.

Connect the Main Supply

Identify the incoming live (phase) and neutral wires. Connect the live wire (typically brown or red) to the main MCB input terminal. Connect the neutral wire to the neutral link or the input of the RCCB if one is installed.

Install Circuit Breakers

Place the output MCBs in their designated slots.

Single-pole MC

Bs are generally used for individual circuits, while double-pole MCBs may be used for special loads. 5.

Connect Output Circuits

Connect each circuit's live wire to the corresponding MCB output terminal. Connect the neutral wire of each circuit to the neutral link. Connect the earth wire from each circuit to the earth bar in the distribution box.

B Integration (Optional but Recommended)If using an RCCB, connect the output of the main MCB to the input of the RCCB. Then connect the output of the RCCB to the input terminals of the output MCBs.

Ensure the RCC

B rating matches the main MCB, typically 30mA for domestic installations. 7.

Verification

Use a multimeter to check for correct voltage and continuity. Ensure there are no short circuits and all connections are tight. 8.

Labeling and Safety Checks

Clearly label each MCB according to the circuit it controls. Double-check that all wires are properly insulated and secured to prevent accidental contact or overloading.

B (if used) connected after the main MCB.

Output MC

Bs connected to the RCCB output or directly to the main MCB output. Neutral link distributing neutral to all output circuits. Earth bar connecting all earth wires from circuits and the main supply.
