Kenya Large-Diameter 12-Core Optical Fiber

12-core optical fiber cables in Kenya are available in singlemode and multimode types, including armored and LSZH options, suitable for indoor and outdoor high-speed data transmission.

Types and Specifications

Singlemode and Multimode: 12-core optical fiber cables in Kenya come in both singlemode (ideal for long-distance, high-bandwidth transmission) and multimode (suitable for short to medium distances, such as LANs and data centers) configurations. Multimode fibers often use OM3 50/125µm cores for high-speed connectivity. Construction: Cables are available in tight-buffered or loose tube designs, with UV-resistant polyethylene jackets for outdoor use or LSZH jackets for indoor safety.

Armored versions include non-metallic FRP strength members and water-swelling compounds for underground or harsh environments. They offer high tensile strength (up to 1000 N) and wide operating temperature ranges (-20°C to +70°C), ensuring durability in diverse climates. Performance: Singlemode fibers achieve ≤ 0.

4 dB/km at 1310 nm and ≤ 0. 3 dB/km at 1550 nm, while multimode fibers have ≤ 3. 0 dB/km at 850 nm and ≤ 1.

0 dB/km at 1300 nm, minimizing signal loss. These cables comply with Telcordia GR-20 and IEC 60794-1 standards, ensuring reliability and compatibility. Accessories and Integration12-core cables can be paired with fiber patch panels, ODFs, and connectors (SC, LC, ST, MPO/MTP) for easy integration into existing networks.

Wall-mount 1U ODFs with SC/APC connectors are available for organized cable management and protection.
