Egyptian air-blown optical cable price

Air-blown fiber optic cables in Egypt are available from multiple suppliers, but prices vary depending on cable type, length, and installation requirements.

Suppliers and Availability

Several companies in Egypt provide air-blown fiber optic cables and related services: Connect Egypt offers air-blown fiber optic solutions, including micro cables with micro ducts and general fiber optic cables with silicon tubes. They provide installation, operation, and maintenance services, emphasizing flexibility, scalability, and reduced installation costs. Fibertech Misr supplies a wide range of fiber optic components, including outdoor, indoor, aerial, direct burial, OPGW, and ADSS cables.

They have experience supplying major clients like Telecom Egypt, the Egyptian Air Force, and El Nasr Petroleum. Aetronix Egypt and online marketplaces like Amazon.eg also list fiber optic cables, though specific air-blown types may require direct inquiry for pricing.

Factors Affecting Price

The cost of air-blown fiber optic cables in Egypt depends on several factors: Cable Type: Micro cables for micro ducts are generally smaller and may be less expensive per meter than general air-blown cables with silicon tubes. Length and Core Count: Longer reels and higher core counts increase the price. For example, a 2 km 2-core reel is a common configuration, but exact pricing must be requested from suppliers.

Installation Services: Professional installation using specialized blowing machines adds to the overall cost. Connect Egypt provides both hydraulic and mini-type cable blowing machines depending on the cable type. Additional Components: Ducts, connectors, closures, and other accessories can affect the total project cost.

How to Obtain Pricing

Since prices are not publicly listed online, the most reliable way to get current pricing is to: Contact suppliers directly (Connect Egypt, Fibertech Misr, Aetronix Egypt). Specify cable type, length, and installation requirements. Request a quotation including any additional services or equipment needed.

By doing so, you can obtain a tailored price that reflects the specific needs of your project and ensures compatibility with existing infrastructure.
