Provides Wi-

Fi 6 with up to 3 Gbps and a 2. 5G LAN port. Includes smart home control, DECT base station, and mesh networking for stable connectivity across multiple devices.

Routers with SFP+ Ports (e.g., BE800/BE900)SFP+ ports allow hot-swappable optical modules for 10G Ethernet or fiber connections. Can replace a traditional fiber modem with a PON stick, connecting directly to the ISP's fiber network. Offers flexibility for high-speed WAN connections and supports multiple transmission protocols.

Considerations When Choosing a Fiber-Ready RouterFiber Standard Compatibility: Ensure the router supports your ISP's fiber type (GPON, XGS-PON, AON). SFP/SFP+ Module Requirements: Some routers require specific optical modules; verify compatibility with your ISP.

Wi-

Fi Performance: Wi-Fi 6 or 7 routers provide higher throughput and better multi-device handling. LAN/WAN Speeds: Look for 2. 5G or 10G ports if you plan to use high-speed wired connections or NAS devices.

Mesh and Smart Home Integration: Routers with mesh support ensure consistent coverage in larger homes and integrate with smart home devices.

Setup Options

Direct Fiber Connection: Use an SFP/SFP+ module or compatible ONU to connect the router directly to the fiber line. Traditional Modem Connection: Connect the router via Ethernet to an existing fiber modem if direct SFP support is unavailable. Backup Connectivity: Some routers support USB 5G dongles or dual WAN for failover, ensuring uninterrupted internet.

Choosing a router with optical module support ensures high-speed, low-latency internet, future-proof connectivity, and seamless integration with modern smart home setups. For best results, confirm module compatibility with your ISP before purchase.
